Located on the Louisiana Gulf Coast, this 70,000 gallon demineralized water storage tank, center, measures 15'-6" in diameter and is 50'-0" tall. The steel circumferential handrails, step-out platform, ladder and cage assembly were all manufactured by
our Steel Division. The smaller tank on the left was also fabricated by Red Ewald, Inc., holding 30,000 gallons it measures 15'-6" by 20'-0". Both tanks have target reading level gauge boards.

Four (4) 35,000 gallon chemical storage tanks are shown in the process of being hydrotested on the Red Ewald, Inc. test slab. These 12'-0" diameter by 35'-0" tall vessels were delivered to Quinnesec, Michigan.
Four (4) ion exchange columns for uranium extraction, 12'-0" diameter by 30'-0" tall with a 15'-6" diameter by 8'-0" overflow section. The columns are self supporting with a cone bottom, full length skirt, 2" thick FRP distributor plate, sightglass win
dow, and overflow weir.
